I started Hate The Books because I kept watching brilliant business owners make decisions in the dark. Their books were technically getting done — but nobody was helping them understand what the numbers actually meant for the business they were trying to build. There had to be a better way to do this work. So we built one.
Today, Hate The Books is me and a capable team supporting all our clients. There’s experienced bookkeeping and payroll capacity behind every engagement we take on, so the work gets done quickly and on time. That’s how we keep response times short and the client relationships personal.
We do the bookkeeping. We lodge the BAS. We run the payroll. And then, every month, we sit down with you and we actually look at the business together — what’s growing, what’s bleeding, what to do about it. No jargon, no judgement, no hourly meter running while we talk.
